THE CHALLENGE
The partnership development sector relies heavily on social media to reach potential new clients. There were few other routes to market with no specialist trade publications or media outlets. This created some real challenges for the business as they were relying primarily on LinkedIn for much of their marketing and communications work. They needed to find a way to quickly and easily amplify their social media content.When one of the firm’s investors told the senior team about MarketBeam, a solution he had seen deployed effectively in other organizations, they were keen to find out more.
THE SOLUTION
Adopting MarketBeam was clearly going to benefit the business, but they needed a high level of employee engagement to maximize the impact. This meant colleagues needed to be reassured that their social media channels were not going to be overwhelmed with Partnerize content. The marketing team proposed that no more than 2 posts a week would be shared, and that these would only contain important, information rich content.

Before deploying MarketBeam every employee would be contacted to ask them to reshare social content. MarketBeam has eliminated this process completely and, whilst employees are not required to use the platform, the majority have engaged with it and feedback has been excellent. With four offices on four continents it used to take weeks to share posts across the entire employee network. Now it takes just a few days, and 50% of the workforce have set up MarketBeam to automatically share Partnerize posts.
Extending the Benefits
The original objective for the project was about creating brand awareness and recognition, constantly reminding potential new clients about Partnerize. MarketBeam has exceeded the firm’s expectations.
